Eina
I am most probably right about everything.
The Dictator XV play against the Icon XV next week so stay tuned…

Kim calls line out
15 – King Mswati III – The Swazi royal, has a defense like a reed dance
14 – Islam Karimov – Uzbekistan, rumour has it anyone who beat him in a 100yrd dash was executed
13 – Meles Zenawi – Ethiopian leader and fan of starving possesion
12 – Isayas Afewerki - Eritrea, links nicely with Meles on his outside
11 – Muammar al-Qaddafi – Great Switzerland switch player on the wing
10 – Fidel Castro – With clean service from his brother Fidel is more of a running 10
9 – Raul Castro – The Cuban leader is one hell of a distributor
8 – Sayyid Ali Khamenei - With nuclear like running from the base
7 – King Abdullah – The Saudi leader plays in the Rocky Elsom mould VICE CAPTAIN
6 – Hu Jintao – One could say he ‘pillages’ possesion
5 – Gurbanguly Berdymuhammedov – A long name for a tall lock forward from Turkmenistan
4 – Aleksandr Lukashenka – One could argue that he may be too soft for Bakkies’ position
3 – Robert Mugabe – The Zimbabwian has what it takes to scrum CAPTAIN
2 – Kim Jong II - The center of the world at the center of the scrum MAN OF MATCH
1 – Aleksandr Lukashenka – Egypt, not a very mobile prop but very experienced
I smell like old spice.
No seriously, dropped a bottle of paprika on the floor and it went all over my slacks.
Who uses the word slacks?
Not me.
Just that once.
Love you

This is called Eina's Eye - SERIOUSLY!
If tough days are meant for tough people, the today is my day… – Eina Vermeulen
Yes, I said that.
Do you know why people succeed? People succeed because they are lucky, clever and tough. Some are only a little bit lucky, some are only a little bit clever but all of them are very tough.
Toughness is the muti for natural selection… – Eina Vermeulen
I have been coasting along for far too long. Today is the day that I make a change.
Today I google hammer time and I get an sms from toughness…saying WELCOME EINA!
Think about it. If you can hold out longer, work harder and push further. YOU WILL SUCCEED. This applies to sport more so than anything else, because it is when the other guy cracks that you win.
Now that’s a thought worth thinking.
Eina
Ok, the Sharks lost again so this weekend was stuffed from Friday night already.
Jol up the West Coast was great though…
I have so much to do this week.
Good luck
Eina
Ok, so I recovered from Mike Finch’s birthday drinks. Well almost…. but Happy 40th CHAMP!

Probably not a virgin...
I now have to head out to my family farm up the West Coast, its called the West Coast National Park… We like visitors so pop round if you are in the area.
My Super Bru picks are as follows…
Game 8: Highlanders v Blues: Blues by 3
Game 9: Reds v Crusaders: Reds by 3
Game 10: Sharks v Cheetahs: Sharks by 10
Game 11: Lions v Chiefs: Lions by 5
Game 12: Hurricanes v Force: Hurricanes by 5
Game 13: Bulls v Brumbies: Bulls by 3
Game 14: Stormers v Waratahs: Stormers by 6
Now sports TV wise my choices are SS1 Sharks vs Cheetahs at 17h30 tonight and then watching the Winter Olympics whenever you glance at the TV… I DIGG the okes with the pot that sweep the ice dust away and then get the pot into the target thingy… What’s it called again? Curling… Yes… Thats KIFF!
Enjoy

Debbie from Dallas
Thats right folks, back to the NFL… This is not Debbie.
Eina wants to tell you that no matter how hard you train its your mind that makes the difference. The best way to train your mind is to start thinking like a champion. A champion knows a few things…
A champion knows that he belongs in the game.
A champion knows that he controls what he can, the rest is not worth wasting time on.
A champion trusts that the people on either side of him will do what is expected of them.
If the people who a champion relies on let him down a champion does not drop his lip and whinge…
A champion makes a plan, works harder, runs faster and makes sure that a champion stays a champion.
Today I have decided to fight for what I want in life, today I will not be concerned with other people and what they are doing with their lives, today is the day that I realise my destiny as a man… to be a champion. Today I fight to be the man I am supposed to be. Today is the day that I realise that my fate is hard work and big fights. Today the Universe/God gave me my first quantum wake up call…
Make sure that your line is not engaged when you are supposed to get yours…

I was reading a rugby forum the other day HERE and the topic was pick a rugby team to play for your life.

Rugby Pitch of Life
I think it is a great choice for todays XV. Imagine, do you go for performance or heart, emotion or head… Tough one!
15 – Eina Vermeulen – Why would you not play yourself?
14 – Usain Bolt – I want the fastest, he is the fastest.
13 – David Veary – Tough defender, great crash ball, good mate.
12 – Butch James – Its my team and I want him here.
11 – Mark Bright - Fastest white man.
10 – Phil Venter – One of my best mates, you need to have real friends at flyhalf when its your life.
9 – George Greegan – I know but its my life!
8 – Pierre Spies – Big and fast.
7 – Rowan van Niekerk – My one mates younger brother, flip he is strong!
6 – Simon Cahill - He was never a wing, he is a flank and a good mate. (Captain)
5 – Mark Andrews – I want bad men here, real bad.
4 – Mike Finch – Athletic and I am sure will do what is needed.
3 – Animal van Heerdan – Strongest man I know
2 – John Smit – Captain Fantastic
1 – Gerrit Badenhorst - Strongman competitor
Well as you can see, Eina has made some strange decisions. I was not given a time frame for the game of my life so I have called time even and chosen some players from different generations. I have also chosen some people who do not know how to play rugby but who I think would be great at it. I will be appointing a coaching and management panel consisting of my Dad, Jake White, Cecil Moss and managed by Morne du Plessis.
Why would you fill a team that will play for your life with anyone but some players who have played with you in your life. Thats why my mates are there.

So, been thinking.
Lets take Karma as a spiritual ‘theory’ and unpack it. Now I do believe in aspects of Buddhist spiritualism and one of the ‘theories’ of Buddism that I most strongly follow is the principle of karma.

Be Ba Be Ba Be Ba - WIN!
What you reap, you will sow…
Do a good dead and it will come back to reward you…
Do something evil and something bad will happen to even the score…
Pretty basic and makes a lot of sense when thinking about balancing the global accounts!
How can we use karma to positivly affect the way in which we participate and consume sport? I mean if we behave in a certain way sports wise we should benefit from more victories and better performance right?
Right.
Each day try to visualise yourself as a bad karma sponge and a good karma amplifier. When someone or something is bad towards you, absorb it and try to weaken the power of that badness. When someone does something good to you amplify it, share it, pass it on and try and make the world smile with you. What will happen is that your good karma account will start to grow, you will start to become a better person and the universe will try and make all your dreams come true.
Its a good great theory, give it a go.

What a crap weekend? Blitz Bokke lost, Sharks lost and we coughed a commanding start to the cricket…
Oh well, not much that I can do about that but I can change today.
Here is a pep talk video to get you started this morning…
THIS IS YOUR TIME, NOW GO OUT THERE AND TAKE IT
Bang!
‘Nuff said…
Lots of love
